Nativa is AB-InBev’s local beer made from cassava. To protect its main ingredient from the unpredictability of the rainy season and provide farmers with a low-cost simple solution, we teamed-up with meteorologists to turn used beer bottles into rain gauges, a vital tool for farming that helps farmers better record rainfall patterns and protect their crops from losing them to heavy rain. 

This sustainability initiative targeted small-scale farmers with a B2B comprehensive approach. The initiative focused not only in communicating the innovation but also in educating farmers by giving them real-time advice from experts via Whatsapp when they shared photos of the measurements.
